Meet Adam Lampert
Most clients and their families never have an occasion to meet our CEO, Adam Lampert. We think it’s important to introduce you to him.
In a people-to-people business like ours, culture is everything, and that culture starts at the top. Adam sets an impeccable example of integrity, caring and respect that sets the tone for everyone at Cambridge Caregivers — not only the leadership team and office staff, but more importantly, every caregiver that we hire and entrust with the hands-on care of our clients.
Adam has a knack for finding ways to support our caregivers. When he noticed how gas prices skyrocketed a few years ago, he immediately added a gas stipend to our caregivers’ compensation. He has quietly assisted staff members affected by medical or family crises, providing a no-interest loan so that a caregiver can attend a family funeral overseas, or offering assistance for a staff member who fell ill or was injured. He lives near one of our Manchester Care Homes and has been known to lend his handyman skills in a pinch. When the ice storm hit in 2022, he got in his car and helped people who were stuck on the roads. On one occasion, he helped a woman on the side of the road, and unknowingly rescued a member of our caregiving staff!
Professionally, Adam received his BA and BBA degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, and his MBA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Adam has spent his business career as an advisor, operator, investor and board member. After a successful career in mergers and acquisitions, Adam started Cambridge Caregivers in 2014. Under his leadership, the company has thrived and grown, winning a spot in 2025 on the Longhorn 100 list of fastest growing companies led by UT alumni.
Adam is also a committed community leader. He serves on the National Board of Governors for the American Jewish Committee, having previously served as President of the local Dallas board. He has also served as a longtime volunteer working to enrich the lives of children and families in Vickery Meadow, one of the most impoverished areas in Dallas, through his work with Temple Emanu-El, Dallas ISD and Jill Stone Elementary. Recently, in the wake of the devastating July 4 floods, Adam traveled to the Texas Hill Country to help with search and recovery.
Adam is also a champion for improving the lives of all caregivers in the industry and for addressing the growing caregiver workforce shortage. The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, and other leading media outlets have turned to Adam for his insights and expertise on balanced immigration policy.
There’s an old saying, “Character is who you are when no one is watching.” Anyone who works around Adam will, sooner or later, catch him doing something extraordinarily kind, usually when he thinks no one is watching. In future posts, we’ll share more about how Adam personally strives to make lives better for our clients and their families. Stay tuned!
