The Cambridge Difference

Seniors in this country are the most vaccinated people. The latest stats show that more than 92% of seniors have had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 82% are considered fully vaccinated.

But numbers are a lot lower for those people who work with our most vulnerable population. At assisted living centers and long term care facilities around the country, fewer than half of nursing home workers are vaccinated against COVID-19. This is not the case at Cambridge Caregivers and Manchester Care Homes, nearly 100% of our staff are fully vaccinated.

The Cambridge Difference

At Cambridge Caregivers, we’re COVID-free. A lot of that has to do with educating our staff and educating our clients as well. All of our staff are masked, and we ask that families remain masked as well. Plus, as I mentioned before, we’re close to 100% fully vaccinated.

That doesn’t mean the risk is gone completely. I talked to a doctor last week who got vaccinated and still came down with COVID. This is why at Cambridge Caregivers we’re fully committed to taking every precaution to keep our seniors safe. It’s going to be a long time before we take masks off and stop washing hands like we are right now.

It may be a challenge, but we’re up to the task. Our Director of Nursing works with our staff daily to talk about the importance of using hand sanitizer and thoroughly washing your hands, as well as keeping their masks above their nose.

We have good, caring, empathetic staff, coupled with strict adherence to all the CDC mandates and regulations. At Cambridge Caregivers and Manchester Care Homes, the health and safety of our seniors, your loved ones, is our top priority.
