Over the years, my business career has spanned several different industries as an executive, as well as a board member and as an investor. Before I started Cambridge Caregivers, I worked in mergers and acquisitions where I learned that there are some basic success principles that apply in virtually any industry. In the final analysis, business success is all about people.

That’s proven true with Cambridge Caregivers. The success of our organization is entirely based on our team.

I repeat this every week at our Tuesday staff meetings. The success of our business will be entirely the result of the culture of our business — that is, how we feel about one another, and how we support one another. Our company mantra is, “We make lives better.”

When a client asks for our help, we are there to provide service to their mom or dad or grandparent or other loved one. We’re making the lives of our clients and their families better through the empathetic, excellent care that we offer.

But that mantra really has two meanings, in that we also make the lives of our staff members better. That’s the key reason why we’re different. It’s why people want to work with us rather than one of our competitors. We care for our team members. We invest a lot in our people. Because we know that, if we take good care of our caregivers, that empowers them to take good care of our clients.
