Meet Shelley and Liliana: New Faces Leading the Way in Cambridge’s Houston Office
Cambridge Caregivers recently welcomed two dynamic new team members to our growing Houston office, and we’re excited to introduce you to them!
Shelley Kutina and Liliana Scurlock have both joined Cambridge as Community Liaisons, bringing energy, heart and deep experience to their roles.
Shelley comes to Cambridge with four years of business development experience with a medical service provider. She says the role at Cambridge was a perfect fit, both professionally and personally.
“I was so excited to discover that caregivers are truly valued here,” Shelley said. “As cliché as it may sound, Cambridge truly feels like home to me.”
Liliana’s career began in the U.S. Army, where she served as a combat medic. She then built a successful career in healthcare sales and marketing. At Cambridge, she’s found a place where her passion for helping others is both supported and celebrated.
“Cambridge is unique in so many ways,” she said. “The company really goes above and beyond for both clients and staff. And I love the way training is setting us up for success.”
Since joining the team, Shelley and Liliana have hit the ground running. They’ve been connecting with clients, networking with healthcare providers, and spreading the word about Cambridge’s concierge-level caregiving services. The Houston office opened in July 2024 to meet growing demand for in-home care in Bellaire, River Oaks and the greater Houston area.
Shelley is leveraging her longtime ties in the electroencephalogram (EEG) world to reach out to neurologists across Houston. “They’ve been so supportive and excited to start sending us clients,” she said.
The team is also building Cambridge’s presence through social media, community events, word-of-mouth and professional networking. “We’re sharing with family and friends, showing up in the community, and making sure people know what makes Cambridge different,” said Liliana.
Shelley has deep roots in the area. She grew up in The Woodlands and still calls the Houston area home. She’s married with three daughters: the oldest is an ICU nurse in the Houston Medical Center, the middle is studying business at Sam Houston State, and the youngest is a high school sophomore.
Liliana is a proud first-generation American. Her father is from Paraguay and her mother is from Puerto Rico. She brings a global perspective and a deep love for family and animals.
Shelley and Liliana share a soft spot for furry companions. Shelley adores “anything with four legs,” and Liliana is “a little obsessed” with her three dachshund puppies.
Shelley and Liliana are thrilled to help bring Cambridge’s premium services to more families across the region.
“We’re growing,” said Shelley. “And soon enough, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with!”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Shelley and Liliana to the Cambridge team,” said Ernie Cote, Chief Operating Officer for Cambridge Caregivers. “They bring not only impressive experience but also a deep passion for service. I’m confident they’ll make a lasting impact as we continue to expand in the Houston market.”
