In addition to helping older adults get their basic needs and tasks met, our caregivers can also provide companionship. Isolation and loneliness are things that many older adults experience, especially if they live by themselves. Having conversations and building relationships are things that can significantly improve a person’s mood and create a happier life. At Cambridge Caregivers, we strive to provide the best assistive care possible from the largest to minor tasks in older adults’ lives.
In addition, when a caregiver is working directly with a resident, we always make sure that the pair is a good match. Having a positive caregiver and client relationship is extremely important, which we ensure by having several meetings (both over the phone and in person) before plans are finalized. If you ever find yourself unhappy with your caregiver or have a problem that needs to be addressed, we encourage you to reach out to us. We will address your needs as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.
To allow for the feasibility of services, we work directly with families, spouses, or and older adults themselves to establish what level of care is needed on a case-by-case basis. The care plan is always available on-site, along with any necessary contact information, so our caregivers can have all the details they need to serve you best. If any adjustments to a care plan are necessary, they can be amended to best fit an individual’s needs.
